Tradition: Witchcraft, Hekatean
Ingredients:
- Dragon's blood incense
- Lemon
- Black salt
- Cold water
- Fire-proof dish
- Black candle
- Linen satchet
- Bowl
- A key, ideally reserved for ritual use
- Ritual scissors
Purpose: Break hexes placed on you with the assistance of Lady Hekate.
Methodology:
Light the black candle and the dragon’s blood incense.
Utilise the energy ball exercise to charge the lemon and visualise it absorbing a black, dirty thread that is the hex out from your body.
Chant:
Hear hear Lady Hekate, come to my aid swiftly as I have been hexed! Unlock the strings of twisted fate from my body and soul!
Dip your ritual scissors into a bowl of black salt and water and cut a slit in the lemon, large enough for the key to fit.
Utilise the energy ball exercise on the key and fit the key into the keyhole which is the slit in the lemon, twisting as though you are unlocking and letting loose the black dirty threads.
Use the ritual scissors to slice the lemon into 3 slices.
Chant:
As sour as this lemon be, Charged and cut in pieces of three, unlocked and unbound by the grace of Lady Hekate, With salt and water I am free. Uncross me now, I will it be. Let this lemon do its task, It’s cleansing power I do ask, as this lemon dries in air. Free me from my dark despair. Uncross! Uncross!
I break his/her curse/hex/jinx. But let not my simple spell reverse. I wish no ill, nor wish him/her pain. I wish only to be free again. By the will of Lady Hekate, Trimorphis, Kleidoukhos!
Take each lemon slice and coat it in black salt. Set the slices on the plate on your altar or sacred space.
Chant:
As it is my will, so mote it be!
Leave the lemon slices on your altar to dry. Once dried, toss or bury. If the lemon rots, repeat the spell as the hex has not broken yet.
